Meet the Photographer (Gabe Powers)

I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. My father bought me a polaroid for Christmas one year. And by the time I was in high school I was using my first 35 mm. Cameras have always been in my life. Throughout my life in the United States Navy and even while I went through college and became a teacher. (No I don't teach photography) I currently hold a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary studies. I am currently working on my Masters in American History. I have a certification in Early World History. (yes you can say I'm a jack of all trades)
In 2018 I had my first Gallery showing in Pennsylvania. Later that year I would have a piece on display (temporarily) in London and another piece in 2019 in Germany. I'm not internationally known, but I manage to get lucky a time or two.
I love photography. I love catching the moment, the smile, the play, and the action. Especially the candid shots when no one knows the camera is watching.
